Final Fantasy XIII?!?! HELL YEAHHHHHH lol.

Released coming Tuesday, mine's preordered and I'm peeing my pants with excitement, it's gonna be kick ass, I knows it!!!

The only Final Fantasy game I've seen/played was on my friends N64. I think it was turn based back then?

The only RPGs I've ever really got into have been of the MMO variety (which often aren't really very RPG orientated) but none of my pals play Final Fantasy so without knowing the genre I've never taken a punt on buying one of them even though they seem to have a massive fanbase. I have heard that they take FOREVER to play through though!

If it's Japanese/Manga art style then it's probably not my bag - that kind of style annoys me.

I thought it still is? The last and only FF I played was 10, don't think I completed it.

They did used to be turn based but I think they changed recently, I know this one isn't. And it is a regular single player, Final Fantasy X was online I think, as will XIV

with out the battles being turned based its not really a FF, thats why i loved play all of them to ten. when 11 came out and it was just normal battles i just turned it off and never played it again

This time around it's you control 1 player of your group, the leader, the others auto attack. You still have to wait for your ATB to fill before attacks, but you can queue them up.
Also, potions don't take up a go, they heal all members, and if your leader dies even if your others are alive, its game over!

It's awesome so far, played about 3 hours last night and love it!!
